"Small temperature difference" is a common name in the industry, also known as "small end difference", and its scientific name is "approaching temperature difference". It is usually measured by the logarithmic average temperature difference, which is generally 0.5~5℃; it can also be measured by the NTU value. Normally the NTU value is 5-10 under plate conditions; the maximum NTU value under pressure isolation station conditions will reach 20. Small temperature difference working conditions are mainly used in industrial applications to maximize the utilization of heat or cold sources and save energy. Commonly used temperature states in cold systems are 6/11°C on the primary side and 12/7°C on the secondary side.
